Who we are

Flxibl is run by MiNT studios FZ LLE, licensed by Fujairah Creative City (Media Free Zone), United Arab Emirates, licence number 13454/2018 (“we” or “us”). How we handle your information is in our privacy notice, which is part of these terms.

If you use Flxibl for a company or agency, you agree to these terms for it too, and you confirm you're allowed to.

What Flxibl is (and isn't)

Flxibl is a tool that helps companies and agencies keep a network of freelancers and book them: sending requests, answering them, keeping calendars and chatting about bookings.

• We aren't an employer, agency or recruiter. We don't find work or freelancers for anyone, and we don't employ the freelancers who use Flxibl.
• A booking is an agreement between the people in it: the company and the freelancer, or, for agency bookings, the company, the agency and the freelancer. We're not part of that agreement. Each of you is responsible for keeping to it.
• Agencies are responsible for their own arrangements with their clients and freelancers, including rates, pay and commission.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over.
• Give accurate details and keep them up to date, including your rates.
• Keep your sign-in private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• Owners and admins of a company or agency decide who is in their team and what each person can do, and are responsible for them. If you add freelancers, or people at other companies, you confirm they're happy for you to give us their details.
• Tell us straight away at privacy@flxibl.com if you think someone else is using your account.

Bookings and money

• Rates, pay, overtime and totals in Flxibl are worked out from what you and the people you work with enter. Check them: what you agree between you is what counts.
• Flxibl doesn't handle payments yet. Invoicing and paying for bookings happen outside Flxibl, between the people in each booking. We're not responsible for payments, late payments or disputes about them.
• We're not responsible for whether a booking goes ahead, the quality of the work, or anything that happens on the job. Cancellations, notice and any cancellation fees are for the people in the booking to agree.

Your calendar

• Connecting your own calendar is up to you. It lets Flxibl show you as unavailable when you're busy; companies only see the times, never the details.
• Your calendar link and your bookings link are private keys. Keep them to yourself; you can remove your calendar, or make a new bookings link, in Settings.
• Calendars update every few minutes, so Flxibl may briefly show something out of date. Check before relying on it.

Using Flxibl fairly

Please don't:

• break the law, or use Flxibl to treat anyone unfairly, including discriminating against them;
• harass, threaten or mislead anyone, or pretend to be someone else;
• send spam, or add people who haven't agreed to work with you;
• try to get into accounts or information that aren't yours, copy Flxibl's data in bulk, or disrupt or overload it;
• copy, resell or build a competing service from Flxibl.

What you put in

What you put into Flxibl (bookings, messages, notes) stays yours. You let us store and show it to the right people so Flxibl can work, as our privacy notice explains. Flxibl itself, its design and its software, belongs to us.

Price

Flxibl is free while we're running the pilot. If we start charging, we'll tell you what and when in good time, and nothing will be charged unless you agree.

How Flxibl runs

We're working hard to keep Flxibl running smoothly and your information safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, especially while it's new. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop Flxibl, we'll give you notice and a chance to take a copy of your information.

Our responsibility

• We're not responsible for losses that come from the bookings themselves, the work, payments between users, or what other users do; or for indirect losses such as lost profit or business.
• Otherwise, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months, or AED 500 if more.
• Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn't allow to be limited, or rights you have as a consumer.

Leaving, or being removed

• You can stop using Flxibl and close your account at any time by emailing privacy@flxibl.com.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Unless it's urgent or the law stops us, we'll tell you why first and give you a chance to put it right.
• What happens to your information afterwards is in our privacy notice.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before. If you don't agree, you can close your account before then.

Law and disputes

If something goes wrong, please tell us first: most things can be sorted out quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Fujairah, and the courts of Fujairah deal with any dispute. If you live in the UK and use Flxibl as a consumer, you keep the protection of UK law and can bring a claim in the UK courts.
